Up

I'm feeling up right now. Here's why...
  • My son and daughter played nicely and even kind of quietly this morning while they waited for me to emerge and feed & dress them
  • We went to a parade and the sun was shining and the kids were happy
  • My DH opened the concession this morning giving me some time, while the kids napped, to tidy the camper and to have a cup of coffee and to read my emails.
  • I have power right now, so I was able to have hot coffee and thoroughly enjoy it.
  • I had a hot shower this morning and feel clean clean clean.
These are things that keep me feeling happy, cared for and useful. I know that this will be a long day. It will be busy and hot, but right now I feel "up", and I just wanted to acknowledge that.

    So nice to hear of someone feeling up! I have had the tendency lately to focus on the down and that encourages others to do the same. You've changed my perspective on things, even if just for a couple hours. Thanks!!
