A Cautious Return

Hello out there? Anyone? Anyone?
I'm back, kind of.
I have been sans computer for most of the summer due to a power cord issue.  I have really missed reading my favorite blogs, but I have also found the freedom that comes from not being hooked on cyber stories.  I want to be very intentional about how I re-enter bloggy land.  I really appreciate it for the tool that it is.  I love the great tips, and the stories that cause me to stop and evaluate my heart and my life. I am always thankful for the lift that comes from a "been there done that" anecdote.   I just don't want to get lost in here and miss out on the real life that is going on under my very nose.  I want to stop putting off my kids requests for time with me. I want to get on top of my house hold chores, instead of reading the top 1001 tips for doing so.  I want to find myself hungry and thirsty for God's word, instead of wondering what is happening in So and So's blog today.  I know I'm susceptible to online addiction, so I'm going to approach this return to technology as cautiously as I know how.  For my 3 followers, expect to see many photo posts from this summer of my kids because my mom prints my posts for my Grandparents and I know that they love to see what we've been up to.  I'm hoping to post random thoughts, but they really will be random in timing and content. Stay tuned, perhaps less is more. Maybe there will be nuggets worth reading and spending time on, but I won't be offended if you don't, since the real world is out there! "To infinity and beyond!"

  1. I'm so glad you're blogging again, I've missed your blogs. I can relate to so much of what you write about and I always feel encouraged when I read your blogs. You often give great food for thought. Thanks for sharing your stories and emotions.
