Not Camping Anymore!

Well folks, as of tomorrow my family and I will no longer be living in our travel trailer. We have power, water, and heat in our new to us mobile home. Being that it is mid November it is time to winterize the travel tailer and start enjoying spacious living in our 14'x60' trailer.
We are planning to renovate every room and surface as we are able, so most of our non essentials will remain in storage, but the kids are delighted to have beds to sleep on and their old toys out to play with. Dade has been dying to move in since September, so I hope he is happy with the changes to come. I will post pics of our reno adventures as they unfold. Life is always interesting.
I really miss coming here and catching up on my blogs and posting my own stream of consciousness. We are hoping to get internet sometime soon, but who knows how soon soon really is. Until then I lurk whenever I have the opportunity, and I try to gather my thoughts to share when I am able.
Life lately has been filled with:
~Morning outs: I take the kids to a local toddler time run by a group of country gals who live near us. It is a great time to drink coffee and watch our children play while we visit. I also go to the city for a Ladies Morning Out where the kids go to their own special Kids Morning Out activities while I get to discuss an interesting book and other life issues with a group of like minded Christian ladies. Again coffee flows freely! It has been a wonderful fall for socializing for me. I of course can never have too much socializing, but I will have to cut back to Toddler Time only after the Christmas break since I just can't justify the 30min drive to the city every week when gas is expensive and I have so many projects at home to work on. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.
~Subbing: Getting on the sub list in my new school division has taken a bit of work and effort. Mostly I had to track down papers and transcripts etc. I have subbed one half day but I expect it to get busier and busier especially in the new year. I am scheduled to teach French immersion next week, which is always interesting. It is grade 7/8 so I'm not too worried, they are usually good kids who are fairly self directed. I know enough French to know if they are on topic or not, and that has gotten me by in the past.
~ Sunday Swims: Mike and I have been enjoying family time on Sundays. Since we go to the city to attend church we try to make it a fun day with the kids and, if possible, our friends & family. One of our new traditions is to take the kids swimming after lunch and a quick nap on Sunday afternoons. The kids love it and it is a pretty good place to meet up with other families who have kids with energy to burn. Mike and I also really enjoy the hot tub time. I'm hoping as time goes by and as our kids' attention span increases, to find other interesting things to do on Sunday afternoons.
~ Parties: We are so blessed to live close to friends and family in the city. It seems there have been numerous birthdays and other celebrations over the past few months, and with Christmas coming there will be many more! Even though we have a lot of work to do, we are able to balance our lives with a lot of fun times with good people.
~ House & Property Stuff: Mike has been working hard on all the little details of getting our home livable, and now we will be concentrating on making it look good too. He has been amazing as he does most of the work by himself while I am watching the kids and doing household stuff. He is very talented and I'm always amazed at how he knows just what to do and also how to save money doing it. I don't tell him enough how much I appreciate him. I'll have to work on that.

Well that is us in a nut shell, again. I can't wait until I'm able to post on a more regular basis, so I can give those who are interested more details, and so I can unload some of the thoughts spinning between my ears more often (they can be a bit of a heavy burden at times).
Until then I'll be lurking.
