Well we are back home. We are exhausted. Of course being gone for a week we turned down the water heater, so I'm filthy from tearing down and setting up our concession and I'm sitting here waiting for hot water.
Our catastrophes and calamities seem to be behind us for now. All things said and done we were more blessed than cursed in spite of the car trouble and other frustrations. Praise the Lord. Thank you everyone for praying for us and helping us in every which way.
Now we get to do a fair in my home town this weekend. It is a small fair, I have help lined up and we can probably manage business on our own. That will give Mike time to work on repairing the Navigator (the alligator as Dade calls it), and find a storage container for us to move all our stuff into. The kids will get some quality time with Grandma & Grandpa this weekend, and hopefully we will get into the full swing of moving next week.
At the end of this month we will have all our stuff on our own piece of land, how wonderful is that? We'll still be traveling until the end of August then we will be able to really get working on developing our property and getting ready to live in our mobile home this winter. Mike plans to do some developing between fairs too. We have to clear trees and level land, put in pilings for the mobile and build a road & approach. We will get power in about 5 weeks.
All that will come with it's own set of blessings and complications. For now all I care about is a hot bath and a short nap before we head over to my parents to celebrate my baby brother's 22nd birthday. Life is good.
